From Our General Manager
Kristi Woolrych
I’ve had the pleasure of working at KFC Australia for four years. My time with our incredible brand began in 2018 as Chief Marketing Officer for KFC SOPAC. At the outset, my responsibility was to drive sales growth through food innovation and retail communications. Almost three years later, I was appointed Chief Marketing and Information Officer in April 2021, which expanded my role to lead KFC SOPAC’s digital and technology agenda, including strategy and the digital consumer experience execution.
Before my time at KFC, I spent 11 years at Suncorp Group, eventually taking on the role of Executive General Manager, Brand and Marketing. Looking after nine million customers, my role was to set the overall brand strategy and drive revenue growth for 11 brands, including AAMI, GIO and Suncorp, leading to repositioning AAMI as the #1 Insurance Brand across Australia was a true highlight.
Ultimately, it was KFC’s renowned focus on product innovation and the unmatched business culture that underpins it that drew me here in 2018. And 2022 has presented a whole new career opportunity as I stepped into the role of General Manager of KFC SOPAC. Though we’re only a few months in, I’ve loved every minute of working alongside our talented Leadership Team and Franchise Partners to develop KFC’s future strategy to transform our customer experience sustained by our proud people-led culture.
