We are seeking a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to join their team . The role reports to the Chief People Officer.
In this position, you will:
- Build People Capability through recruitment, development, and engagement initiatives.
- Support training and development needs, track development plans, and conduct remedial training as needed.
- Partner with Area Coaches and Operations Managers to drive market people excellence scorecard results.
- Work with the People and Culture team on cultural management and change management activities.
- Conduct bi-annual People Excellence Reviews and Restaurant Certification audits.
- Support employee relations investigations and performance management plans.
Other projects and duties as required by the Chief People Officer.
An ideal candidate will possess the following...
- Tertiary qualification at degree level or near completion is preferred, with a major in Human Resource Management or a business-related area preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in an Above Restaurant Operations position (On or Above Target Balanced Scorecard performance) or minimum 2-3 years overall experience in training/human resources area is essential. Certified in Leading Multiple Restaurants with Building People Capability highly regarded.
- Strong influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal.
- Experience with managing conflict situations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills (coaching, developing, influencing, coordinating, motivating and rewarding).
- Working knowledge of legislative requirements including Food Safety, WH&S, Industrial Relations, Fair Work Act and Anti-Discrimination (desirable).
- Effective communication skills including presentation/facilitation and interviewing.
- Ability to work through others to achieve goals.
